Fei Fei sells traditional wanton mee and has a long history with loyal regulars. Its noodles are springy and chilli is exceptionally good. However, the quality overall varies depending on who the person preparing your order is.
They also sell fried yong tau foo, fried fish cake and prawn roll which go very well with their own sweet chilli sauce. Other dishes include oyster vegetables and chicken feet.
1 Review on “Fei Fei Wanton Mee”
Unfortunately, the standard has dropped considerably in recent years. On some days, the noodles are tasteless and bland, but on other days, I do get some of the nostalgic taste I used to love.
The fried yong tau foo with chilli is as good as ever, but has lots of black bits on it that makes me wonder when was the last time they changed the oil used to fry these stuff.
It’s also a place I go to to satisfy my cravings for chicken feet.
